LEAD PASTOR: Joshua Stump

Joshua, known as candid, humorous and without restraint, is constantly discovering new truths that apply to his life and therefore become key points in his teachings to his church. Raw and tattooed are seldom words used to describe most pastors, but Joshua knew his calling early in life and let his experiences, both unpleasant and joyful, mold him into the kind of leader he is today. Joshua is a Spiritual Director and loves to see people encounter the presence of Jesus. When not teaching and counseling, Joshua can be found at home with his wife Jamie and their 2 children. Or you may find him at his local cigar shop Smokers Abbey enjoying a flavorful blend.

Family Pastor: Jamie Welker

Jamie Is passionate about people and walking alongside them whatever they are going through. She desires for individuals and families to know they are loved by the Father, understand how the Father feels towards them, and encourage them to utilize their own gifts and passions. Since her ordination in 2015 she has been shepherding the children, women, and staff of the Local Church.

She and her husband, Tytus, have been married for almost 8 years and are currently fostering two children. Jamie enjoys being outside, playing with her kids, meaningful conversations, peanut butter m&ms, and wants to build a big farmhouse one day.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR: JOSH EVANS

Josh has often said that his only real hobby is people. His passion is connecting with people one on one in long or short discussions where nothing is off the table. Vulnerability and transparency are his regular call to the church as a whole and he attempts to live out this call in his day to day life. 
Josh with his wife and friend group planted a church called Solace in Joplin Missouri over 8 years ago that Josh pastored. He only left when he discerned a call to the community in East Nashville to be the right thing and he is excited to be a part of this outreach. 
He and his wife Cindi have been married for over 20 years, they have 2 teenagers and 2 big dogs . They enjoy time outdoors hiking, camping and fishing together while also treasuring lazy days around the house.

CRISTA & THAD Sparkman

Crista is a talented worship leader who happens to be married to one of the most amazing sound guys in Nashville. Together they are committed to bringing the Spirit of God to the hungry hearts of the Borderland. You may catch Thad on a guitar or on a sound board but wherever he is, he is fully committed. You will find Crista behind the key board, a guitar or a microphone focused on making our community a special place to worship. They take the weight of their responsibility with worship seriously as they invest their lives into this work. If they’re not leading us in worship they are working together to lead their son into becoming as stand up people as they are.
